Tonight, we ate at Korean BBQ, Box Hill. Ventured to have the $27.50 buffet.

The Buffet includes pork, beef ribs, marinated beef, marinated chicken, spicy chicken, spicy beef and spicy baby octopus.

First, we had the side dishes served:

Immediately following, we had our rice dishes. Kieran chose the seafood, everyone else the beef.

The beef is the big advantage because of the egg :-D

Finally, the meats have arrive and we’ve got them sizzling away on the BBQ.

They also have a special offer for unlimited beers for 1 hour per person for $10.

A very tasty meal and not overly priced, especially considering the meat is all you can eat.

Electric Shadows

Electric Shadows

Today, I watched a movie I caught the last few minutes of on TV in full; the movie – Electric Shadows.

The movie starts off with Mao, a bicycle delivery man tripping and falling into some bricks on his bike. A girl there at the time then hits him with a brick.

Mao finds her at the police station after leaving hospital and the girl begs him to take care of her fish.

When the boy goes to her apartment, he finds she has a love of movies like him as she has a home cinema set up with many movie posters across the walls.

While reading through some things in her apartment, he discovers a story line she has written of her life and the movie goes on to go through her mother and her story.

The movie was another excellent display of Chinese cinema with an incredibly well structured story. The characters are all well developed into this beautiful & powerful story.

…tired

Two days back at work after leave and I’m already tired and feeling sick from working.

This sucks. I’ve got too much work and don’t have time to complete as I’m too busy doing other peoples work.

Maybe I’ll call in sick or work from home. sigh.

As part of the trip to Phillip Island, visiting the Pengiuns amongst other things, we stopped in the town of Cowes to have a break and some hot drinks from the cold weather.
